National Baptist Church

The National Baptist in Ribeirao Pires appeared around the month of April 1982 when a group of members of 1st Baptist Church of Ribeirão Pires, left that church because of a disagreement as to the receipt of a new minister to replace the minister left the church to take another. The group supported a candidate who had not yet been ordered, it was a seminarian, has already formed. When it was all right to assume the same, with everything recorded in the minutes, the application of his ordination, some influential church leaders, saw him about threats to traditions. From there then they spared no efforts to prevent it from being ordained, by resorting to means that the view of some, should not have been used.
This group was small, with about 12 members, two of whom were new converts have not yet baptized. After a few prayer meetings and worship room in the house of Sister Celia Ghezzi de Araujo, in Aurora village, Santo André, led by his brother José Aparecido da Silva Santos, decided to seek Pastor Eneas Tognini to join the Baptist Convention National and on the 05th of June 1982, minister Eneas Tognini, then president of CBN attended a meeting with the then Executive Secretary of the CBN-SP and organizing the congregation.
On August 11, 1991 the church had installed at its headquarters, located on street Domingos Correia, 28 Alliance Park in Ribeirao Pires where it remains today, having expanded its facilities by purchasing a lot next door. The Church in this period Park Alliance has developed greatly helped in the training of ministers opened three congregations that churches today are already organized, the first was in the nearby town of Rio Grande da Serra, where miniter Antônio Carlos Pereira, his wife Cleide Veridiano Pereira and daughters, the second in Vila Rica in Ribeirão Pires, where minister Wagner Acquesta Lauro, his wife Pra. Celita A. Silva Acquesta and daughters, the third in Park Bandeirantes, Mauá where minister Ezir Santos Correia and Wife Iris Cooper. Currently our church maintains two other congregations formed. One in Ouro Fino, Ribeirão Pires and the other in Centerville, Santo André.
